Day 193: The Commute

image

This is what morning looks like.  Rolling towards Hillsboro on the westbound MAX.  Everyone is happy and optimistic because they are headed towards another day.  And riding public transportation helps keep another vehicle off the road which goes towards improving the environment.  Yes, the commute is all about positive action.

Day 190: The Oregon Coast

We are currently headed west towards the Oregon coast. So far the weather is clear and cool so we should be able to really enjoy the beach.

(Update)

We have returned from a great day at the beach, even Kona had a good time playing in the ocean.

Day 177: On The Coast

Today was a spur of the moment kind of day.  I woke up and thought that today would be a good day to head to the coast and the next thing you know it, the family and the dog are headed to the coast.  We had a good time and learned a valuable lesson, our dog does not know how to swim.  No worries, I managed to pull her out of the water before she drowned and she did have fun for the rest of the time we were there.

Seaside Oregon 6-06-2010

Seaside was the first place I lived when I first moved to Oregon so it will always hold a special place in my heart.  It may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I love the Oregon coast and always have a great time whenever I go there.  Next trip will probably take me over to Cannon Beach or perhaps just a long drive along the coast.

Day 173: Wet and More Wet

Rain.  In Oregon.  Imagine that.

June 2, 2010 and there is no sign of summer.  Who needs it.  Although, it kind of sucked that when I was crossing the parking lot on my way to the train this morning I stepped in a rather large puddle.  Luckily I had the foresight to wear boots today so my feet are still dry.  I was just out on the patio here at work and now it is both raining and windy, a double win!  Now I am going to drink some coffee.  End.
