Peak Blogging Is Here?

A new Pew Internet report finds that blogging by teenagers has fallen by half since 2006, and even young adults seem to be dropping the habit. Has blogging peaked? Personally, I see it as a plus that teenagers are not blogging as much. Maybe being older is preventing me from appreciating the nuggets of wisdom that today’s teens provide but I think not. No, I believe that blogging is alive and well and will continue to grow a bit more.

Day 232: Last Minute Hustle

Saturday is here! We hit the road for the 1700 mile journey to Minneapolis early tomorrow morning so the entire household is moving at a frantic pace as we all finish last minute packing and cleaning. Time is up. Everything must be packed today and anything we have forgotten will be lost to us once we roll out of the driveway tomorrow. Road trip!

Day 231: Farmville, Burn That Fucker Down

Zynga, you suck! Farmville is about as bloated as a dead cow washed up on the banks of the Rio Grande. I go onto my Facebook account and click the link to enter my farm. After what seems like forever my farm finally loads up. What, I have gifts? Instead of allowing me to view my gifts I first have to wait for the screen prompting me to send something to my other friends. But, I don’t want to send them anything at the moment, I want to look at what gifts I have. Doesn’t matter. Oh, and then there was my puppy, Hank Guyver. You low life Zynga motherfuckers gave him to me for free and then attempted to blackmail me into spending real money to afford the puppy kibble I needed to keep him from running away. And after I refused to be strong armed you did just that. He ran away and then simply disappeared. Zynga, your games used to be entertaining but now they are getting so convoluted and bloated that it would take a full day just to manage them.

First off, we hit Uwajimaya this morning and picked up some snacks before heading back home because it was HOT this afternoon. But now let me say this, Zynga is becoming a bloated monster. Can Zynga manage to dump any more shit into Farmville or Cafe World? I mean seriously, these are just basic browser based games but unless you have a gaming PC they are laggy as shit. Fuck you Zynga. And don’t get me started on the fact that you stole my puppy from me in Farmville.
