Day 183: Once More Into The City of Heroes

June 12, 2010 by Mister Viddy

Paragon City, they call it the city of heroes but really it is nothing more than a facade.  Lurking in every alley, parking garage and dark street are dangers, even for a hero.   City of Heroes Garage 6-12-2010  I roll solo so for me it is always a matter of watching my ass or else I’m through.  I’ve kicked a lot of ass all throughout Paragon City but just look at this. City of Heroes Sewer 6-12-2010 Me, face down in the sewer just after having had my ass handed to me on a platter.  You win some and you lose some it’s just that in the city of heroes, Paragon City, the losing part can hurt.

But don’t worry about me kids, as you can see I always bounce back.   City of Heroes Posing 6-12-2010  After all, it’s just a game.

Day 119: In Which I Reflect Upon…

April 10, 2010 by Mister Viddy

The fact that I just spent a lot of money on my new glasses. The bill came to $355.00 out of pocket, thank god for vision insurance. No pics yet, they won’t be ready for another week and a half. I’m not just reflecting, I am also gazing into the near future and seriously considering a departure from my current employer to risk life on my own. But that is a story for another day. In general the day has not been too shabby. I woke up early to catch the bus up to the eye doctor and then stopped in at the bike shop to get some more chain lube. Something about this winter was seriously harsh. I have gone through three sets of brake pads, six sets of tube and a set of tires. Odd. Especially when I consider the fact that the weather itself was not particularly bad.

So now I am just enjoying a cup of java at home and then I’m going to take a spin on the bike and take advantage of the beautiful day. Later on I am going to be kicking some more ass in Paragon City.

Day 114: City of Heroes – Faultline

April 5, 2010 by Mister Viddy

This past Saturday I rolled into the Faultline neighborhood in City of Heroes, quite intent on handing the bad guys their asses.  I did not fail.

Maybe it was lack of sleep or maybe it was just too much caffeine but one thing was certain, I wasn’t taking any lip from any of the gangs down in Faultline.

I’ve said it more than once, being a super hero is tough.  Even with my awesome powers it can be difficult gaining respect when you fly around in a skin tight outfit with your junk out on display for the whole world to see.  I’ve been the victim of harassment on more than one occasion here in Paragon City.  I remember this one time when I flew in and plucked a lady from the top of a burning building and while I was flying her to safety she was giving me an unwanted reach around.  I’ll tell you what, that was awkward.

Even the gangs here in Faultline, well throughout Paragon City in general, will sometimes try and push my buttons with snide little comments even though it always ends the same way.  With me handing them their asses on a platter.

All I want is to be shown a little respect.  Don’t hate me because I look so good in spandex.  I worked hard for this body.  Anyways, I am gonna bounce for now.  Thanks for hearing me out.  If your ever in Paragon City feel free to look me up.  We can have coffee or something.

Day 54: City of Heroes Revisited

February 4, 2010 by Mister Viddy

On Patrol In The City of Heroes

There I was, flying high above Paragon City, keeping a sharp eye out for evildoers.  Tonight I was focusing my efforts on the Steel Canyon neighborhood and making sure the Outcasts weren’t out hassling the citizens.  So yeah, I’m a superhero so unlike the local cops I have a reputation to protect and I need to carry myself with a little dignity.  And the dignity part is hard to muster up when you’re out in public wearing a latex bodysuit that shows off your junk.  If you get my meaning.

In addition to staying in shape to fight the bad guys, I am forced to adhere to this ridiculous diet so that I keep my body fat down below 2% because believe me, one little ounce of fat shows right through my costume.  But I gots to admit that I have a nice ass and well sculpted body so I don’t really mind prancing around like a little Nancy boy.  In fact, I like it.  I like it a lot.

In Vanity We Trust

But I digress.  As I was saying before, I spent the evening out in Steel Canyon and nothing much was going on so I took the liberty of cornering a couple of lower level Outcasts and kicked the shit out of them.  They’re laid up in the intensive care unit and I must say that I’ll be very surprised if they ever walk again and the prognosis is equally grim on whether or not the will ever eat solid food again.  High five!

I did it all in the name of truth and justice, and fuck it, I was stronger than they were so I figure they had it coming.  Well folks, I’m hungry.  All that flying around sure do work up an appetite.
