Thursday. Another day in Paragon City. Life in The City of Heroes is never easy, especially for a super hero like me. All I’m trying to do is make an honest living so I can retire to Costa Rica one day but sometimes it’s hard. Take today for instance. I was heading down to the corner market to buy some smokes when out of nowhere I’m jumped by a gang of thugs. They didn’t want my wallet or my iPad, they just wanted to hassle me over my costume and that just isn’t cool. Sure I was able to put them down without much effort but should I even have to? I think not.
Anyhow, once that little bit of drama ended I figured my day would go a little smoother. Wrong. Just as I was about to enter the marker I find myself ambushed by a gal collecting signatures for some kind of cause. Cause? What about my cause? I just need some smokes.
On Patrol In The City of Heroes
There I was, flying high above Paragon City, keeping a sharp eye out for evildoers. Tonight I was focusing my efforts on the Steel Canyon neighborhood and making sure the Outcasts weren’t out hassling the citizens. So yeah, I’m a superhero so unlike the local cops I have a reputation to protect and I need to carry myself with a little dignity. And the dignity part is hard to muster up when you’re out in public wearing a latex bodysuit that shows off your junk. If you get my meaning.
In addition to staying in shape to fight the bad guys, I am forced to adhere to this ridiculous diet so that I keep my body fat down below 2% because believe me, one little ounce of fat shows right through my costume. But I gots to admit that I have a nice ass and well sculpted body so I don’t really mind prancing around like a little Nancy boy. In fact, I like it. I like it a lot.
But I digress. As I was saying before, I spent the evening out in Steel Canyon and nothing much was going on so I took the liberty of cornering a couple of lower level Outcasts and kicked the shit out of them. They’re laid up in the intensive care unit and I must say that I’ll be very surprised if they ever walk again and the prognosis is equally grim on whether or not the will ever eat solid food again. High five!
I did it all in the name of truth and justice, and fuck it, I was stronger than they were so I figure they had it coming. Well folks, I’m hungry. All that flying around sure do work up an appetite.

Day 114: City of Heroes – Faultline
This past Saturday I rolled into the Faultline neighborhood in City of Heroes, quite intent on handing the bad guys their asses. I did not fail.
Maybe it was lack of sleep or maybe it was just too much caffeine but one thing was certain, I wasn’t taking any lip from any of the gangs down in Faultline.
I’ve said it more than once, being a super hero is tough. Even with my awesome powers it can be difficult gaining respect when you fly around in a skin tight outfit with your junk out on display for the whole world to see. I’ve been the victim of harassment on more than one occasion here in Paragon City. I remember this one time when I flew in and plucked a lady from the top of a burning building and while I was flying her to safety she was giving me an unwanted reach around. I’ll tell you what, that was awkward.
Even the gangs here in Faultline, well throughout Paragon City in general, will sometimes try and push my buttons with snide little comments even though it always ends the same way. With me handing them their asses on a platter.
All I want is to be shown a little respect. Don’t hate me because I look so good in spandex. I worked hard for this body. Anyways, I am gonna bounce for now. Thanks for hearing me out. If your ever in Paragon City feel free to look me up. We can have coffee or something.
