These Things That I Have Seen

I woke up this morning and peeked out the bedroom window and was greeted by a brisk, sunny landscape.  Granted, the landscape included a view of the trailer park behind my apartment complex but still, it was gorgeous.  The ride into work was chilly but enjoyable and it got me to reminiscing about my days back in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Mornings on the high desert are just like this, chilly and sunny with clear skies as far as you can see.

Morning Mass

Another random item is this.  Portland keeps getting all this recognition as being a bike friendly city yet I find it to be one of the more hostile places to ride a bike.  Albuquerque was downright hospitable and safe.

Broadway

Dig it.  I’m losing focus now but just remember, do not discount Albuquerque when it comes to bike friendly places in the United States.  And for the record, I love Oregon.

Day 60: A Post A Day (Two Month Anniversary!!!)

Wooosh!  It has been sixty non-stop days of posts and another 305 to go before I meet my goal.  This is just the beginning but I’m feeling good.  I’m feeling motivated and gosh darn it, I can do it!

Day 51: A Post A Day (Obligatory Photographs)

What you talking about fool?  You know what I’m talking about.  I’m talking about the obligatory photographs you see all over the web.  From Facebook to Flickr you’ve seen pictures of the thumbs up and pets and all that other bullshit so now I’m stepping up and posting this random photograph I took with my BlackBerry Curve.  It’s a photograph of clouds, yes, clouds!  OMG!  I know right?  It was that or another picture of a toilet so I took the rated G route and went with clouds.

Sky Shot: Sunday PM

Don’t critique me too harshly as not much thought went into the composition.  I was out at the smoking area at work, I looked up and took the photo.  Easy as pie.  So there you have it.  One absolute work of fine art.  Thank you, you’re too kind!

Day 50: A Post A Day (Foggy Mornings In Oregon)

Millikan Way Max In The Fog

Brisk, foggy mornings are the best.  They are downright romantic and always allow for the potential of finding interesting shots.

Parking Lot On Sunday

I stopped being lazy and finally brought my Nikon D40 with me when I left for work, it allowed for several new pictures of the local MAX platform.
