Creeps & Weirdos: GM Ad Against Transit

GM took billions from the American public to stay afloat but take a look at this ad they ran from years ago.  Creeps and weirdos?  I use and support public transportation and although I do not consider myself to be a creep I would admit to being a bit of a weirdo.  Bottom line, this is what corporations think about average citizens even if they do buy GM vehicles.

 

 

Oh Snap: The Minneapolis Skyline

Today was another gorgeous day in Minneapolis so I decided to take my favorite walking route along East River Parkway and through the campus of University of Minnesota. As I was crossing the old Northern Pacific Bridge Number 9 I was taken by the view of the river and of downtown Minneapolis and because I generally travel with a camera at all times I was able to capture some nice images of the city. Enjoy.

A Day At MIA

To celebrate the arrival of spring in the Twin Cities I headed indoors to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts or MIA as it is also known.  I spent my time in the Asian section as well as checking out some installments in the Contemporary Arts section.  All in all it was both enjoyable and inspiring.
