After two and a half days and 1800 miles I have finally arrived in Minneapolis. The journey was long and grueling and I am too tired to go into details. More to follow.

Day 234: More Blogging From The Open Road
We are still on the road but should be in Minnesota within a day and then on to Minneapolis. So far, so good. We are deep into the bad lands but it is still gorgeous. I am anxious to get to our final destination but I am still enjoying that temporary feeling of complete freedom that a long road trip across the country can bring to you. As long as we continue to hit rest areas at the proper moment then all will remain good.
Day 233: Blogging From The Open Road
Hola fellow travelers. I am blogging to you today from the passenger seat as we cross mile after mile of open road on our way towards Minneapolis. 1700 miles from Portland to the Twin Cities. It still amazes me just how beautiful our country is. I have driven coast to coast over seven times so I am no stranger to long road trips but every time I do it I am always in awe of the surroundings. I may or may not begin posting pictures from the road, if not, then I’ll post them once we roll into Minneapolis.
Day 239: Much Ado About Hotels
Wow, we have been staying in the hotel for only four days but it seems like a lifetime. It sucks. There is only so much television you can watch. And even though we have ventured out into the local area it is still kind of draining being stuck living in a hotel. Luckily we will be moving into the new house early next week.
