“And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife
And you may ask yourself-Well…How did I get here?”
“Once in a Lifetime”
Written by David Byrne and Brian Eno
I got here by walking across the street. And by here I mean the Millikan Way MAX platform. And if I ask myself what am I doing here the answer would be, going to work. I work for a large company, in a large building with lots of parking out front and I know how I got here, MAX. Letting the days go by…
And away I go, off into the suburban wilderness to help keep the internets and webs safe and secure. Like the man said, don’t call me. I’ll call you.
On The Train
Here I am, pressing this post from my BlackBerry on a crowded MAX train heading into Hillsboro. The crowd is well mannered and everyone is doing a good job at avoiding eye contact. I’m only four stops away from my final destination so let me bid you a warm farewell.
