What is The Mask Project? The Mask Project is just a simple art project in which I create a variety of simple plaster masks and then randomly deposit them around Minneapolis, Minnesota and Portland, Oregon. There is no grand vision here, I simply enjoy making these things. It is my hope that if you happen upon one of my masks that you would take a photo of it and send it to masks@ividdy.com so that I may display it here for the world to see. Each mask will have a sticker on it with my URL and email address. There is no obligation to do this. So there you have it, The Mask Project. If you find one, keep it. It’s free. It’s a mask. A gift from Mister Viddy to the world.
